Is Dashkevich denied early release?

The political prisoner wrote so in a letter to his friends. As said by Dashkevich, the day before yesterday he was present at the commission on early conditional release, and he was denied release there, as he “has a number of penalties for violation of dress code and the day routine”.

“Everything does in its usual manner. It means, everything is alright. The advocate told tales about early release to me, and for a few days I felt a free man, feeling freedom with every part of by body and mind. But after that I collected myself and started to think more realistically.

Yesterday I went to the commission on early conditional release. I was denied release, as I had “a number of penalties for violation of dress code and the day routine”.

The day before yesterday I was interrogated in the case of Ivan Shyla. As usual, I declined to give evidence, but I was surprised that some ‘criminal cases’ against Young Front members still exist. It’s a strange realization of “political agreements”. But we cannot be taken unawares by that, as from the start we had little hope for that. And the term left is not so long.

The only thing that is annoying here is absence of free time. In three and a half – four free hours I manage to sort my mail and read a little. And if I have supper, I cannot do anything, only sleep.

That is why I almost never have supper, so that my head can work for some hours. And I get up at 5 a.m. which allows be to read Bible for an hour in more or less quiet atmosphere. That’s the way my life goes”.
