У Беларусі толькі 32 СМІ выпускаюцца на роднай мове. Гэта гаворыцца ў адказе намесніка міністра інфармацыі Беларусі Уладзіміра Матусевіча на запыт прэс-сакратара ГА “Беларуская асацыяцыя журналістаў” Барыса Гарэцкага.

Паводле намесніка міністра, па-руску сёння выходзіць 837 выданняў. Яшчэ 526 СМІ могуць змяшчаць на сваіх старонках і рускую, і беларускую мову.
