Artur Finkievich can spend 3 years in prison

The administration of Magiliou special commandant’s office has 10 days to define disciplinary punishment for one of the “Malady Front” leaders Artur Finkevich for the incident which has taken place recently.

The day before yesterday in the evening, when the night sleep hours had already been announced, Artur entered the next room to ask for a heart medicine. According to the press-service of “Malady Front”, the commandant’s office workers treated it as a violation of the regime and demanded a written explanation from Artur.

“If they decide to impose some punishment on me, it will mean that I’ll be transferred to an investigation isolation cell and then, in the court, a new criminal action against me will be initiated - on article 415 of the Criminal Code (evasion or violation of the regime during the imprisonment term). I can be sentence up to three years,” - Artur Finkievich said.

On May 10, 2006, youth activist Artur Finkievich was sentenced to 2 years of freedom restriction for painting the political graffiti “We want a new one!” and “We’ve had enough!” before the presidential election.
