Youth activist Syargei Guminsky was tried by the Orsha district court 17 April despite of the official day off. Judge Syargei Bandarou admitted him guilty of minor disorderly conduct. In compliance with the court’s decision the youth activist is to spend 12 days at the temporary isolation ward.
The militiamen detained the Young Front activist 16 April evening .The official reason for the detainment was his supposed state of alcoholic addiction and swearing in the public place. However, the medical examination didn’t prove the alcoholic addiction and only the militiamen who had detained the activist were among the witnesses in the court.

Collaborators of Guminsky consider his arrest to be a preventive measure –for the young man not to participate in the city action devoted to the Chernobyl disaster. The request for the city action on Saturday 28 April the local activists submitted to the city executive council. Syargei will be released only 29 April.
